What is the IllumiFacial®?
The illumiFacial® is the next generation of the highly successful “Photofacial” treatment. Using a new and unique combination of Lynton skincare with our powerful, medical-grade skin rejuvenation IPL Laser. The illumiFacial® is designed to illuminate, rejuvenate, and nourish the skin, resulting in a flawless, younger-looking appearance from the very first treatment.
How Does IllumiFacial® Work?
A superficial peel helps to dislodge the debris of dead skin cells on the surface of the skin allowing the light from the IPL laser to penetrate further and stimulate faster cell turnover. The IPL laser causes the skin to heat up and causes very mild reversible thermal damage. The skin acts to repair this by increasing the rate of collagen and elastin production deep within the dermis. This increases the skin’s elasticity and strength, making the skin look softer and smoother. The IPL can follow to ’spot treat’ individual areas of broken thread vessels and pigmentation.

- No UV exposure for 4 weeks prior to treatment

How many treatments will I need?
It is recommended to have a course of 4 to achieve the best results.
Is it suitable for all skin types?
The treatment is only suitable for skin type 1-3 on the Fitzpatrick scale.
Is the illumifacial relaxing?
No, it is mildly uncomfortable but not painful. The facial is performed using an IPL Laser. This is a clinical facial and therefore not a ‘pamper’ facial.
What is this good for?
It is a result’s driven anti-ageing facial to stimulate collagen, reduce pigmentation, redness, and vessels to give the skin a more even appearance.
